We have just come out of the final closed beta for Zenless Zone Zero, and with the closing of this chapter comes some good news; we have a release date. After HoYoverse completes their finishing touches, we can jump into a new apocalypse from July 4th. As well as the announcement of the date, it was also confirmed that there will be both cross-progression and cross-play upon release, which you would expect from HoYo but it is nice to be certain. We can all continue our journeys in New Eridu across whatever device we have at hand. Set in a post-apocalyptic urban environment, Zenless Zone Zero centres on a world devastated by Hollows. There is one last bastion of humanity; New Eridu. To lear…

Genshin Impact is making it a big two months with massive updates

It’s going to be a big two months for Genshin Impact fans, as HoYo lays out their upcoming new version and a monthly challenge domain. An Everlasting Dream Intertwined will land June 5th, and bring new characters, more secrets about Khaenri'ah, and the return of Travelers and Dainsleif. After you have raced through this new story it will soon be July 1st, which brings the debut of the Imaginarium Theater, a hidden chamber in the Mondstadt Library. At this point, the Spiral Abyss will also switch to a monthly cycle, resetting on the 16th. The Theatre has a variety of modes restricted to characters of certain elements and a limit to how many times they can fight. As you battle you will…

Earn ungodly power thanks to to mountain of Summon Coupons available during Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds second Aniversary event

It has been two years since Netmarble released Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds, and they have since steadfastly refused to release a single new class. To celebrate its second anniversary, Netmarble will continue this stubborn path, instead releasing special missions, a new foot race, and the chance to net over two thousand coupons. Until June 19th you can strap on those running shoes and take part in the 2nd anniversary Foot Race Sagartha. Everyone will receive Reward Tickets four times a week through the mailbox and can cash them in for a scenic race across the ancient city of Sagartha. At the finish line, you can earn rewards like the Sparkling Heart, a five-star Tetro Puzzle Selection Pack, and…

Strive to survive in the unforgiving underground as Vampire: The Masquerade - Coteries of New York opens for pre-registration

In most video games that include vampires, they are usually portrayed as incredibly strong combatants, but that’s often all we get to see. If you want to dive into the, loosely used, real narrative behind the curse, The Masquerade series does this with aplomb, and now you can pre-register for the next chapter in the saga, with Vampire: The Masquerade - Coteries of New York. First released as a tabletop game in 1991, it would be fair to assume The Masquerade series came to most people's attention in 2004 with Bloodlines. Yes, Redemption did win an award, but to this day Bloodlines has a mass following as a narrative masterpiece thanks to its exquisite look into the daily lives of vampi…

Black Desert Mobile makes you a black belt with the release of marital artist class Askeia

I am sure that most gamers, myself included, have their preferred classes to play in each genre; snipers in shooters, dual blades in fantasy, and stealth archers in Skyrim. That doesn’t mean we can’t branch out though, and Black Desert Mobile is giving you the perfect opportunity thanks to the new Askeia class. In a world of magic and blades, sometimes the most effective method of combat is a good old punch straight to the honker. Askeia takes this a step further, augmenting their natural martial prowess with a Blast gauntlet, allowing for rapid movement and rocket-propelled blows to leave foes reeling. Thanks to the Martial Spirit passive skill, Askeia gains increased skill da…

Reverse: 1999 has a big month planned with the latest version on a half-year anniversary happening in June

Players of Reverse: 1999 are going to have their hands full next month, as Version 1.6 drops on May 30th, and Bluepoch prepares to celebrate its RPGs’ six-month anniversary. New game modes have been announced, as well as a new character and a few free goodies, including 20 Unilogs in the Treasure in the Ancient City sign-in event. Unfortunately, Version 1.6 will also introduce Reverses’ first limited character in the shape of six-star Jiu Niangzi. The wording suggests if you miss them in this Till the Last Drop banner, you're going to have to wait about a year, which is one of the more unsavoury Gacha practices. In more positive summoning news, the Revelation of the Water limit…

PUBG Models teams up with SSC North America to add a lot more speed to the battlefield

Sometimes when you are in a firefight that just isn't going your way, the smart thing to do is just get out of there as quickly as possible. PUBG Mobile is assisting its players with just such a rapid egress thanks to their newest collaboration with renowned US hypercar manufacturer, SSC North America. Despite only being founded in 1999 as Shelby Supercars, after Jerold Shelby, SSC North America fast became a powerhouse in the hypercar world. The SSC Tuatara was officially clocked just short of the 300mph mark back in 2022, hitting 295, which should give you plenty of speed to loot that building and get away in style. Until July 9th you will be able to get your hands on two of SSC Noth Ame…

Blue Archive unveils latest Main story update as well as a 2.5-year celebratory event

Spring is here and is melting us all (at least here in the UK), but luckily Nexon is here to distract us thanks to the release of Blue Archives’ Main Story Vol 5. Like the Flower That Wishes to Bloom introduces an extremely powerful new recruit, and you can pick up some free Pyroxenes by logging in over the weekend. The Allied Hyakkiyako Academy’s world-renowned Cherry Blossom Festival has arrived, complete with hot springs and summer fireworks. Unfortunately, not everyone is feeling the fun, as the Hyakkaryouran Resolution Council is on the brink of collapse. Sensei steps in, as he often does, to try and resolves the issues before the club closes for good. Our newest recruit,…

Hearthstone heads towards a clash of the inventors as Dr Boom’s Incredible Inventions Mini-Set lands

Deep in the labs of Hearthstone, the incensed Dr Boom is hard at work perfecting his toymaking, spurred on by the taunts of Whizbang being named the world’s greatest inventor. Thinking along the lines that bigger is better, Boom hits upon this eureka moment, and releases unto our decks the Dr Boom’s Incredible Inventions Mini-Set. Something to really keep an eye on is the new keyword; Gigantify. When you play a card with this word, for example, the puny three-mana Toysnatching Geist with two attack and one health, you will get a Gigantic version of the card added to your hand. This version has a massive eight attack and eight health for eight mana, a massive upgrade to dominate…

PUBG Mobile becomes undisputed king of battle royales with new Mecha Fusion mode

In the past you could have made a lot of arguments for why any of the battle royales on mobile are the best in the genre, however, PUBG Mobile's latest update has just blown them all out of the water. That is because version 3.2 has released the Mecha Fusion mode, complete with giant freakin' robots. Mecha Fusion is available across the Erangel, Livik, and Miramar maps, and contains three mechs to pick from; Levitron, Strider, and Armamech. Levitron can switch between a speed form, and a magnetic one that allows them to throw characters, whereas the Strider has a boosted jump and is loaded with missiles. Combine them both, and you will get the Armamech, a four-seater equipped with dual wea…

Hero Wars flips on the easy mode as iconic gaming legend crosses over for a visit

The world of Hero Wars is full to the brim with all manner of heroes willing to sling fire, swing blades, or let loose arrows to keep the evil at bay, but what if that isn’t enough? Well, then you of course get a gun! Or, make that two, as Tomb Raider’s Lara Croft makes her way over in a truly bizarre collaboration. If you never heard of Lara Croft, well I don’t believe you. Ever since those first steps into the caves on PS1 where you are immediately ambushed by bats to the face, she has been one of the leading icons in gaming. Luckily for GDEV, she is taking a quick break from raiding Crystal Dynamics tombs to hop over into Hero Wars. Packing those signature dual pistols…
