Description

Web cameras for Ferry users in British Columbia, Canada.
Heading for the ferry and don't know whether you are going to make it? Are you going to be able to drive straight on or is the queue already too long.

Perhaps you might as well make a stop for coffee to go and relax while you wait for the next one. MultiCam is the fastest way to get to the Ferry Terminal web cams that matter to you.

Instead of browsing to a web site and working your way through the menus and map graphics to find a web camera just open MultiCam on your iPhone and go straight to the camera you want with one click. Flick through the other cameras with a simple Next button.

Touch the Favorite button on any camera page to copy the cameras that matter to you to your Favorites list for faster access. Switch quickly from Show All to Favorites mode. In Favorites Mode the Previous and Next buttons follow the Favorites list.

MultiCam is a simple webpage viewer. It can display almost any web page. MultiCam BC Ferries comes pre-loaded with 28 cameras showing the ferry terminals and 8 maps showing vessel position. Pages added manually may not be useful unless they are formatted for iPhone screen size

Cameras are maintained by British Columbia Ferry Services Inc. Individual cameras may be inoperative due to weather conditions or maintenance requirements.

What's New in Version 8.60

This app has been updated by Apple to use the latest Apple signing certificate.

FINAL UPDATE. This is the last time MultiCam BC Ferries will be updated. Under Apple's revised guidlines developers may not have two or more apps with the same appearance and functionality, differing only by content. In practice this means that I must consolidate multiple region-based traffic camera apps into a single app.

REPLACEMENT. The camera network covered by MultiCam BC Ferries is now included in a new app named DOT Traffic. Select BC Ferries from DOT Traffic's setup page once and the app will provide the same functionality as MultiCam BC Ferries. DOT Traffic will continue to be updated. Unfortunately there is no mechanism to transition App Store ownership of MultiCam BC Ferries to DOT Traffic.
