Instead of browsing to a web site and working your way through the menus and map graphics to find a web camera just open Salt Lake City Traffic on your iPhone and go straight to the camera you want with one click. Flick through the other cameras along your route, in order, with a simple Next button.

The traffic is slowing to a crawl. Is it going to clear quickly or is it time to bail and find a better route? Open Salt Lake City Traffic, select the nearest camera with one click and then flick through the web cams along your route to see how far the congestion continues.

Touch the Favorite button on any camera page to copy the traffic cameras that matter to you to your Favorites list for faster access. Switch quickly from Show All to Favorites mode. In Favorites Mode the Previous and Next buttons follow the Favorites list.

Salt Lake City Traffic comes pre-loaded with 211 traffic cameras along I-15 from Farmington to South Jordan, Legacy Hwy, I-215, I-80 as far as Mountain Dell, SR-201, Bangerter Highway, downtown Salt Lake City and South Salt Lake. Some cameras may appear in more than one list where highways cross.

Cameras are maintained by the Utah Department of Transport CommuterLink. Individual cameras may be inoperative due to weather conditions or maintenance requirements. The publisher of Salt Lake City Traffic Cam is not affiliated to or endorsed by CommmuterLink.

Version 9.184. The app now has a link to our Privacy Policy on the Setup page. In brief, our policy is we do not ask for, receive or store any customer data.

FINAL UPDATE. This is the last time Salt Lake City Traffic will be updated.

REPLACEMENT. The camera network covered by Salt Lake City Traffic is now included in a new app named DOT Traffic. Select Salt Lake City from DOT Traffic's setup page once and the app will provide the same functionality as Salt Lake City Traffic. DOT Traffic will continue to be updated. Unfortunately there is no mechanism to transition App Store ownership of Salt Lake City Traffic to DOT Traffic.
