WCFR Radio, Springfield, Vermont’s first radio station founded in 1935, has served the community with local news, weather, sports, and a variety of music since its inception. Today known as Springfield’s Variety Radio Station, WCFR originates programming from its studios in downtown Springfield, VT. Listeners in the area can tune into WCFR on either AM 1480 or FM 106.5. Be part of the home of Homer Simpson, beautiful Springfield, VT, by keeping your iPhone and radio tuned to WCFR. Ray Kimball, General Manager of WCFR, was the winner of the Inaugural Al Noyes Community Service Award. Ray is heard regularly on WCFR.
