Ready to head home and you want to check the traffic? MultiCam is the fastest way to get to the traffic web cams that matter to you. Instead of browsing to a web site and working your way through the menus and map graphics to find a web camera just open MultiCam on your iPhone and go straight to the camera you want with one click. Flick through the other cameras along your route, in order, with a simple Next button.

Should I stay or should I go?
The traffic is slowing to a crawl. Is it going to clear quickly or is it time to bail and find a better route? Open MultiCam, select the nearest camera with one click and then flick through the web cams along your route to see how far the congestion continues.

MultiCam Auckland comes pre-loaded with 62 traffic cameras in Auckland and a further 50 in other centres. Cameras are maintained by Transit New Zealand. Individual cameras may be inoperative due to weather conditions or maintenance requirements.

What's New in Version 8.60

This app has been updated by Apple to use the latest Apple signing certificate.

FINAL UPDATE. This is the last time MultiCam Auckland Traffic will be updated. Under Apple's revised guidlines developers may not have two or more apps with the same appearance and functionality, differing only by content. In practice this means that I must consolidate multiple region-based traffic camera apps into a single app.

REPLACEMENT. The camera network covered by MultiCam Auckland Traffic is now included in a new app named DOT Traffic. Select Auckland Traffic from DOT Traffic's setup page once and the app will provide the same functionality as MultiCam Auckland Traffic. DOT Traffic will continue to be updated. Unfortunately there is no mechanism to transition App Store ownership of MultiCam Auckland Traffic to DOT Traffic.

Version 8.03. Corrects app for changes to camera numbering. NZTA recently switched the identification numbers of cameras at Market Road and Squadron Drive, causing the app to display the wrong images. This update matches the new numbering.
