This mini-course provides an introduction to the key music genres popularized over the course of Cuba’s fascinating history.

It consists of 10 easy to comprehend course chapters:

• Afro-Cuban Jazz
• Rumba
• Timba/ Salsa Cubana
• Rap Cubana
• Reggaeton
For each chapter a list of recommended recordings is given, including links to iTunes so that you can hear snippets of the music.

A glossary is provided, as well as a final quiz is included to test the knowledge gained through the course.
