Description

The game Rota (Latin for Circle) originated in
ancient Rome. This is basically the predecessor to Tic-Tac-Toe. It has slightly different rules though, and the board is circle shaped. Also, it is impossible to get a tie in Rota unlike Tic-Tac-Toe.

To play: start by sliding a piece (with your finger) onto the rota board. Rota is a 2-player game. Have player 2 slide a piece onto the board. Repeat until all 6 pieces are on the board. The goal of the the game is to get 3-in-a- row. It is impossible to have a tie because after all the pieces are on, you slide one per turn to the next available spot. You can slide out from the middle, to the spot next to the one your on or into the middle. You can only move 1 line per turn. Don’t jump pieces.
