Description
If you enjoy Sudoku, Logix Pairs will give you a fun challenge and many hours of enjoyment. With four grid sizes for the iPhone and a new 10x10 board size for the iPad, three difficulty levels and twenty four game skins, Logix Pairs offers a fun alternative to Sudoku to challenge your mind. Objective: To correctly set all the numbers in the play grid. Each row and column hold one of each number. Numbers which occur between pairs of grid squares show the sum of the corresponding pair of grid squares.
How to Play: By logically working out which positions only have one possibility, each newly set number pushes the game forward. Challenge yourself and try the game in easy mode which starts with all of the numbers pairs already set, and work your way up to hard mode which gives only a few number pair hints.
The play grid has been designed with two main color schemes in mind: Daylight and Twilight. The twelve Daylight skins all have light backgrounds with black numbering while the Twilight skins have dark backgrounds with light numbering. For those who are just learning or want to play a quick casual game there is also an option to color mistakenly set numbers in red so you can see where you have made a mistake.
Options: On the options page you can choose one of the four grid sizes (6x6, 7x7, 8x8, and 9x9) plus the iPad 10x10 grid size and choose one of the twenty four grid skins. The options will be saved so that the next time you play your favorite grid size and skin is automatically enabled.
View Mode: When changing the view style (landscape/portrait), the numbers will automatically update so that the grid can easily be viewed from any of the four viewpoints. Only the numbers change so this allows you to view the puzzle from different angles which can be helpful seeing possible solutions.
Timer: You can pause the game by tapping the timer display on the main screen. If you choose to hide the timer display, you can still tap the Pause label to pause the game. The game is also automatically paused when navigating to other screens or entering sleep mode.
Automatic Save: If you have to leave the game before it is complete, the state of the game will be saved so you can continue playing exactly where you left off.
The new snapshot feature will allow you to store multiple points in the game and quickly navigate between those save states.
Good Luck !!!
