Description

For the beginning home brewer. We show you everything you need to know to brew quality home made beer. We start by looking at the equipment required to home brew, follow it up by examining the main components of beer and then the brewing process itself. This is a must have for all new home brewers.
Learn the Extract and Grain method
You will learn how to brew great beer at home using a combination of malt extract and milled grain. This method gives you greater control over the final product than just extract alone. This method also gives you a better understanding of grain use if you decide to use the all grain method in the future.
Equipment Breakdown
We go to American Home Brewing Supply and examine all the equipment you may encounter when purchasing your home brew equipment setup. We discuss the various kit options available as well as optional items that will make your brewing experience more efficient. This is great for new brewers that have little experience with the many equipment options.
Main Components
You will learn the main components of beer and how they effect flavor, color and aroma. This allows you to make informed decisions when formulating recipes and selecting ingredients.
Step by Step
We show and explain the entire brewing process (with each equipment setup). Each step examined and explained so every level of home brewing enthusiast may follow along. Quick summaries ensure that you are up to speed and understand each step.
Lightning Brewery
For the finale, we go to Lightning Brewery in San Diego to see and taste our finished product (your beer too if you use our recipe). We get a professional evaluation of the beer and talk with a pro in the industry.
This App contains hours of video, images, sample recipes, and audio to help you become a brewmaster.
