Description
Solace creates a virtual YOU that your friends and family can actually talk to. A bit like what Shazam does for music, but with questions you’ve answered. For example, a friend could ask “How are you?”, and your response would play. The more questions you answer about yourself, the more virtual you become.Solace is for the young and old. You can leave responses to questions like, “What was your favorite movie last week?”, or an aging parent or grandparent could leave behind memories about their time serving in a war. Solace is fun to tinker with casually, but it is primarily a powerful tool to archive who we are and how we’ve lived our lives.
Imagine leaving behind a bit of yourself for your grandchildren or great-great-grandchildren to actually interact with. Does that sound a bit too much like eerie science fiction? Well then just imagine if you could talk to your relatives from the 1880’s living in the Old West. Even saying “Hello” to one of them, would be a window into their world. Then imagine asking them what they did that day. Hopefully that gives you an idea of how amazing it would be for your descendants in 100 years to talk to you.
How’s it all work?… You begin by recording your responses to whatever you want. Then your friends and family speak like they would regularly into their iPhone or iPad . Its that simple.
