Truly the game is older than AD and has been mention in mythological documents as a record. Chowka Bara is an ancient Asian board game. It is played by 2 to 4 players on a board with a grid of 5x5 squares.

Like many such games there are regional variations. It is played by young and old, rich and poor in villages and towns. It is a poor cousin of another famous board game which originated in India. Unlike Chess, which is a pure game of skill, in Chowka Bara players throw dice whose outcome influences the game? Still strategy is important and can offset unfavorable outcome of dice. Quite often 'cowries' (a special kind of sea shells) substitute for dice. You can setup a game almost at no cast.

OBJECTIVE

The aim of the game is to send all your pawns to the centre Square (Final Square).

LAYOUT

A square board of 5x5 grids (25 squares). There are 4 home squares where initially 4 pawns of a player are placed. These squares are also the Safe Zone where you cannot hit/capture opponent’s pawn.

How to Play

Start the game, if you choose to play single player, you will be allotted north slot as default initial positing to start.

If Player chooses to play with 2 or 4 friends, by default they will be allotted opposite slots as per the opponent.

To start the game play swipe the sword to turn the wheel and move you’re pawn according to number displayed on pawn when it stops.

To know player path of pawn movement tap on "I" and it will highlight the path with a mere line and color of the slot.
