Description
★ How Sweet It Is! ★Brooklyn is the most populous borough in all of New York City, which means there's no dearth of food, culture, bars, parks, and restaurants. The question is how to navigate it all. Whether you want to try the city's best Trinidadian (or Mexican, or Russian) food, do some serious flea market shopping, hit up the beach, or grab a drink at the nearest neighborhood bar, this guide will lead the way. In recent years Brooklyn has become as big a destination as Manhattan... come and find out why.
★ About the Authors ★
Emily Nonko is the staff writer at Brownstoner.com, a Brooklyn-based website specializing in real estate, architecture, and restaurants strictly in the borough. She has lived in four different Brooklyn neighborhoods over five years, has biked down just about every street, tries to eat at as many restaurants in the borough as possible, and has attended more community board meetings than any human should. Alex Roche attended school in New York City and worked at the NYC Transit Museum in Downtown Brooklyn. He is currently travelling in Australia.
