Description

What better way to understand the dynamic workings of human anatomy & physiology than to see it in 3D! Pearson’s Off the Page application allows you to do just that. You will be prompted to open Off the Page and scan the image with your mobile device. This action will launch a 3D version that you can spin around, zoom in and out, switch between views (i.e. full and cross section, male and female), and turn labels on and off. Want more information? Launch a video explaining the context of the image. Confident in your understanding? Then, test your understanding by placing the labels onto the? 3D model yourself. Fun and interactive, Off the Page allows you to learn human anatomy & physiology in a whole new way!

This preliminary release is available for piloting in courses that use a Pearson Medical Terminology, Anatomy & Physiology, or Emergency Medical Services textbook. This release includes three modules: the cardiovascular system, the respiratory system, and the digestive system. If you are not using an applicable text, you will be able to download the app, but not able to access the modules.
