Trees are the most divine manifestation in nature. Throughout human history, they have left their traces in all cultural and religious forms.

These verses of Nazim Hikmet, thinking of the human as a tree in his own utopia, ennoble humanistic values with a universal manifestation, through the magical touch of a poet.

Our iPhone app “Nazim’in Ormani / Nazim's Forest“ enables every person accepting these verses as a personal manifesto to create an audible sculpture in a tree form yet as part of a growing collective forest. While Nazim’s manifesto remains just a utopia in the real world, this app aims to create a collective physical being of it as a sensual experience, expanding and ennobling it in an anachronistic way.

In a platform created by a mind that said “Live each day as if it was your last”, the meeting with Nazim, who said “Our best days are the ones we haven’t seen yet” is a twist of fate.
