It's hard being a mobile game developer. That's because there are lots of games being released all the time, and because many of those games come from big professional companies. One tiny indie still living the dream however is Croatia outfit Bit Forest. Consisting of just three people, they've been working in the spare time on labour of love Comic Battle. It's an interesting-looking card-collection game that mixes turn-based strategy with RPG mechanics as you level up your squad of characters. There are over 60 skills to experiment with. Finnish developer Koukoi Games is gearing up for its debut mobile game on iOS and Android. Called Crashing Season - and currently in soft launch in Canada and Australian - the 3D closed world arena runner experience has you playing as, and unlocking, various animals that you get to crash into things, lots of things. Crashing into them, enables you to collect gold, this being a free-to-play games, gold helps you unlock animals, level up their abilities, plus there are a bunch of power ups to improve your smashing performance.
