Glu Mobile releases trailer for Deathdome
Glu Mobile has released the first trailer for its upcoming Infinity Blade style hack, slash, and blocker, Deathdome, and it's looking pretty impressive indeed. The trailer shows off a gritty, post apocalyptic wasteland that owes more than a little to 2K's Borderlands, and a little bit more than that to Mad Max 2. It looks like you're job is going to be pulverising mutant gladiators in the titular Deathdome, using touch screen swipes and taps to attack and dodge. Crescent Moon Games releases a trailer for Ravensword: Shadowlands
If you like your fantasy high and your games epic, then Crescent Moond Games's new iOS RPG Ravensword: Shadowlands is set to tick your boxes in ways you might not have thought possible. You might remember we reviewed the original Ravensword game, The Fallen King, many moons ago. It got a perfect score. And it looks like this sequel has improved on pretty much everything its predecessor had to offer. Mistwalker releases Blade Guardian
Mistwalker, the studio set up by legendary Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi, has released its second iOS game, a tower defence title caled Blade Guardian. The game certainly looks impressive, with blobby cartoon monsters, and plenty of levels for you to sink your defensive real time strategy teeth into. It's certainly a more conventional game than Mistwalker's first attempt at an App Store title, Party Wave, which drew on Sakaguchi's love of surfing to create a strange mix of dolphin poking and big wave catching. Madfinger teases Shadowgun: Deadzone
Madfinger Games, the developer behind Shadowgun and Dead Trigger, has revealed a new teaser image for their upcoming third person multiplayer shooter, Shadowgun: Deadzone. The image shows a group of grizzled looking mercaneries, presumably all characters you can play in the blaster, standing around looking grizzled. You can check it out for yourself below. Modern Combat 4 announced at TGS
A video has leaked online that shows off the first trailer for the inevitable fourth enty in Gameloft's soldiering FPS series, Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour. And it's fair to say that the prolific developer ise still finding inspiration from another series of games with a similar name. iMpulse is the world's smallest wireless controller for mobile devices
Some KickStarter projects make you sit up and take notice, and the iMpulse certainly fits into that category. It's a key ring that doubles up as a wireless controller for your iOS or Android device. More than that, it lets you control your media, take photos without touching your phone or tablet, and if you install a special app, it'll even make a sound when you're trying to find your keys. N.O.V.A. 3 for iOS receives a sizeable update
Gameloft has released another free content update for its impressive futuristic FPS, N.O.V.A. 3, adding a new multiplayer mode, a new map to scrap on, and voice chat on selected devices too. The new multiplayer mode is called Team InstaGib, and, as its name suggests, is a team based, one-shot-kill battle to the death. Everyone has the same weapon, making it a real test of your twitchy shooting skills. The new map is called Warehouse. Capcom has finally released the iOS version of their console smash hit, Street Fighter X Tekken. It brings with it Retina support, and a robust online mode that fighter fans are going to love. Built from the ground up as a touch screen experience, the game features a roster of ten legendary characters from the Street Fighter and Tekken series, and lets you take part in furious two on two tag team battles.
