How do you know you’re a mobile gamer? It’s a good question, and one that we’re asked on a daily basis by the people we see out on the street. Is it because of the shape of your face, is it because of your shoes? Who knows!?!

Well, we do. We know all about stuff like that at AppSpy, so we thought we’d compile a handy list for you to make sure that you know too.

This is probably the biggest giveaway. Think back - have you ever played a mobile game? Maybe you’re doing it right now, double-tasking while you read this article. Maybe you did it on the bus home from the job you hate?

Well, if the answer is yes, then it’s almost certain you’re a mobile gamer. If you think about it, it just makes sense. Play mobile games? Mobile gamer. The words are all basically there in front of you.

When people ask if you’re a mobile gamer you say yes

If I walked up to you in the street and said “Hello, are you a mobile gamer?” your answer would be “Yes, I am a mobile gamer. Thank you for asking.” or some variation of that sentence.

If on the other hand your answer is “No, I am some other sort of gamer or not a gamer at all. Thank you for asking.” then you are not a mobile gamer. Again have a good think about what you’d say and you should come to the answer pretty quickly.

You fought in the mobile gamer wars, on the side of the mobile gamers

This one’s a little trickier to pin down, because of all the brigades that switched sides after the free to play coup 19 years into the conflict. But as the battle cry went “If you’re not a mobile gamer now you never were.”

Which side did you fight on at the battle of the App Store? Where were you when the Google Play Store putsch was in full swing? A quick check of your history will tell you if you’re a mobile gamer or not.

Did you get the letter?

You know the letter I mean. Well, if you got it you know. If you have that letter, and you’ve read it and understood it, then you’re a mobile gamer through and through.
