The NES Classic Mini is a teeny tiny version of the NES. It fits in your pocket, that’s how small it is. Like a phone, but less powerful and more a NES. Wow this is a strained opening even by my standards.
Anyway, you can attach it to a TV and play 30 classic games on it. Which is pretty cool. And Nintendo made it as well, which is even cooler. So using my brain I decided to think up a bunch of other consoles I’d like to see really, really small versions of.
After deciding that, I realised the best way to display this information was in a list. Therefore I have written a list. It is just down there. I hope you enjoy it and tell all of your friends about it.
Atari Jaguar
My friend had an Atari Jaguar. It had one of the worst controllers I’ve ever put in my hands. And I’ve put some pretty terrible controllers in my hands, you can trust me on that.
As far as I can remember it only actually had one good game, and that was Alien vs Predator. And it wasn’t actually that good. Still, I’d like to see a miniaturised version of that controller. All of them buttons.
Neo Geo Pocket Colour
This was one of the best handheld consoles ever made. Like I’m not even joking here, it was absolutely brilliant. Now imagine that, but smaller, and you can connect it to your TV. That’s basically what we’re aiming for here.
Seriously though there were like 20 amazing games on this. And I once spent an entire night playing a golf game on it. A whole night. I didn’t sleep. I was horribly addicted to that game. I had a terrible problem.
Amiga CD 32
This console was a horrible flop. I mean seriously, it died more of a death than the Jaguar. And that’s really saying something. But then its controller was upside down, so what did you expect?
I don’t even think there were any games for this one. I’m sure there must have been, but I can’t think of a single one. I maybe played on one once, probably. But it’d be nice to have a really small one, I suppose.
Sega Dreamcast
Basically the best console ever made. If you disagree with me you’re wrong, it really is that simple. I shall hear no arguments. The Dreamcast was the boss of consoles, the big boss, and I literally don’t care what you think.
The only problem here would be thinking up 30 games it could come pre-installed with. There are just so many. Maybe you could buy memory cards for it with 30 more games on them. That would be ace. I should call someone at Sega and get this sorted, because I would definitely buy one and I know at least two other people who would as well.
