4 TV series that deserve their own mobile game like Battlestar Galactica

Battlestar Galactica: Squadrons is a mobile game based on, you guessed it, Battlestar Galactica. Now let’s all take a moment and figure out what sort of content we can create from that.

OH WAIT I GOT IT. We could write a list of other TV series that we’d like to see turned into mobile games. That’s not going to take that long, and we’ll probably get a few giggles out of it as well.

Feel free to add your own in the comments. Or just stand outside my window at 4 in the morning shouting up ones that I’ve missed. I’m really going to appreciate that. No honestly, I am so lonely.

Castle

I had to watch a lot of Castle because my ex-girlfriend really liked it. I did not like it. I thought it was horrifically formulaic. Literally, the third person you meet in any given episode is almost always the murderer.

Anyway it could be a point and click hidden object sort of game. I reckon that would work. And there’d be relationship sidequests. I don’t think I’d play it, but someone else might and that’s fine.

Fringe

I also watched a lot of Fringe. In that I watched all of it, and own it on Bluray. I like Fringe. I imagine that the mobile game would be a bit rubbish though. It’d be a match stuff puzzler and you’re in Walter’s lab essentially making hallucinogens with a cow.

Or it’d be a point and click hidden object sort of thing. I’d like it if it was more like The Room and you were on a case with Olivia and Pacey from Dawson’s Creek. And Astrid. I think Astrid was probably my favourite.

Batman

I’m talking about the classic 60’s Batman here. All campery and biffs. I’d love to see Telltale or someone do a version of that on mobile. Because quite frankly Batman is just to oangry nowadays.

In fact it could just be a rhythm action game where you have to keep doing the Bat Dance to defeat villains. The Bat Dance is a real thing, Google it. It’ll make you super happy and then super worried.

The A Team

This one would be a cover shooter but instead of shooting bad guys you’d shoot things near the bad guys. No one dies in the A Team, it’s very family friendly and nice. But lots of bales and barrels explode.

I think I’d like a game where you’re shooting the scenery instead of people. I’m really sick of shooting people. I quite like people if I’m honest. You’d get a big fat cigar reward at the end of each level if the plan came together as well.
