Oh hi. Didn't see you there lurking in the darkened corner of the internet. What are you looking for? Is it the best deals on the App Store right now? Because if it is you've come to the right place.
Wednesday is when we grab the App Store by the ankles, turn it upside down, and shake it until the best games for the cheapest prices come spilling out. Then we rake through them and tell you which ones you should buy.
There are some gems here, and one of the biggest price drops we've seen in a good long while. And you can click on the emboldened name of the games in the list below to be whisked to their App Store page. And then you can buy them. What a lovely way to spend your time.
Adventures of Poco Eco - £1.99 / $1.99
A wonderful game that sees you working your way through a stylised world, solving puzzles and unlocking new noises as you go.
There are shades of Monument Valley here, but there's more going on as well. It's the sort of game you're going to suck up in a single sitting.

Commander the Great War - £4.99 / $4.99
A massive strategy game set during the first world war. And when I say massive, I really do mean massive. There are five different campaigns set across a massive hex-based map.
And while £4.99 might sound expensive, this one's come down from £19.99. So if you like strategy and saving money then you're well in luck.

The Westport Independent – 99p / 99c
A game that's all about running a newspaper. Which sounds nice. Except that it's a newspaper in a country controlled by a totalitarian regime. Which doesn't sound nice.
Make life or death decisions while trying to keep your staff alive. Or tow the party line and sell out your journalistic morals for the easy life.

Sid Meier's Starships – 99p / 99c
Another big strategy time, but this time sat in the glorious vastness of space. It's huge, it's full of tactical combat, and it's from one of the masters of the genre.
This is also the cheapest the game has been since it came out a couple of years ago. So if you've been wondering whether to get it, now's the perfect time.

Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee – 99p / 99c
A classic 3D adventure starring everyone's favourite Mudoken. Wander through Oddworld solving puzzles, making friends, and generally getting up to mischief.
The game has been ported pretty well to mobile, and while it might not be the best way to play it, for less than a quid you can't really complain.
