Well, it's Wednesday again. How did that happen? Did someone fast forward the weekend? Was it you? If it was I'm very disappointed in you. Try slowing it down next time, yeah? I don't know, some people.
Anyway Wednesday is when we round up the best games that are currently on sale on the App Store. So I've just gone right ahead and done that for you. Even though you might have fast forwarded the weekend. It's just how I rule.

A big and wonderful space exploration game. Part gamebook, part roguelike, all loneliness and death. This is the Omega edition of the game as well, so it's chock full of interesting new content. And for less than the price of a thing that costs a pound you can't really go wrong.

The game that launched the GO range from Square Enix. It might not have the chops of the games that came after it, but it's still a brilliant experience in its own right. It looks great, and it distills the mechanics of the AAA game it's based on with some real skill.

A sweet and smart puzzler that's all about getting a duo of characters to the end of the level. It's clever, it's intricate, and it looks really good. It's all about using the environment to your advantage, and breaking up the pair of heroes who move at the same time when you swipe.
Ravensword: Shadowlands - 99p / 99c
It's getting on a bit now, but there's an awful lot to like in this massive Western RPG. It's all swords and sorcery, and it's sometimes rough around the edges, but right now it's super cheap, so you're not going to mind too much. Imagine Skyrim on your phone and you're getting close.

What if the card game patience was actually a dungeon crawler? That's the question Solitairica asks. And it answers it with aplomb. It's smart, it's fresh, and it throws you plenty of curveballs as well. Fun and fiesty, this one is well worth a look.
