Well, we made it to the end of the week somehow. It might be because of all of the coffee we've been drinking, or maybe just the promise of the coming weekend has kept us going, either way it's so close we can taste it.

Before we can step into wearing our pyjamas for 48 hours, eating our weight in pretzels, and not seeing the light of day, now's a good time to check over what's been happening on our video channel.

After all, James has slapped up some fantastic content that you might have missed over on AppSpy's YouTube. Don't worry though, we've done the hard work for you.

Barbearian review

Barbearian may charge a hefty £8.99/$8.99 for it on iOS, but you're getting a full experience for your money and more of a hardcore experience to boot.

We get it, though. It's a lot of money to splash out on one game, so have a watch of our review to see what we thought overall. Even if you can't stand listening to James talk (impossible), you still get a good look at the game in action so check it out below.

Evergarden review

As James was telling me yesterday, Evergarden is a delightful find on iOS. So delightful in fact that I'll be digging into it this weekend to see what all the fuss is about.

If you're not sure what to expect or whether picking it up is worth your hard-earned money, take a look at our review of the game below. It's only the click of a button, how hard is that?

5 tips for Meow Wars

No, it's not about two cats scrapping in an alleyway or two people yelling 'MEOW' at each other until one of them gives up. Meow Wars is a tactical card game which anyone can play and enjoy.

Just in case you need a little help we threw together this handy list of things to watch out for. Yeah, some of the points are pretty straight forward, but are you keeping them in mind? No? Well, there you go then.

5 best fighters on mobile

You've got your fair share of combat and VS games on the mobile market, but when it comes to proper one-on-one scrappers, which are the games you can rely on to get your fix?

Spoiler alert: Street Fighter V isn't on there (because its controls are utterly MEH). You may have your personal favourites that didn't make the list, but that's what the comments are for – either here or on AppSpy's video. Hurrah!

5 best battle royale games on mobile

Shh, I know this one was posted six days ago, but I wasn't here six days ago. Where was I? You'll never know… unless you head over to Pocket Gamer's podcast. I'd been drinking far too much coffee and was wallowing in self-pity about Spyro Reignited Trilogy getting bumped on.

AHEM, yes, battle royale games are all the rage at the moment on mobile, PC, and console. Aside from PUBG Mobile and Fortnite BR, however, what other mobile battle royale games should you be playing? I dare say you'll be pleasantly surprised with James' list... Unless you hate BR games, in which case this won't change your mind, no.
