2018 has been a really great year for mobile gaming. In fact it's been so great that it was really tough to pick the ten best games that have come out for iPhone and iPad over the past twelve months. We've done it though. We started our round-up with what we thought was the tenth best game of the year, and yesterday we told you all about game number nine.
This time round, for the less mathematically cognizant, we're going to tell you about the eighth best game that came out this year. Do you agree? Do you disagree? Well be sure to let us know in the comments section at the bottom of the article then.
Tiny Bubbles
This is probably the biggest surprise out of all of the games on this list. For one thing it's a match-stuff puzzler. But the fact of the matter is, it's a shockingly good match-stuff puzzler. In fact, it may well be the best match-stuff puzzler we've seen in about five years.
Everything it does adds a little twist to the formula, from coloured bubbles that change in shape, to a raft of different modes that make you think about what you're doing in a completely different way.
If you've given this one a miss because you thought it was going to be generic, then you're really missing out on one of the very best mobile gaming experiences of this, or any other year.
