Motorsport Manager 3
It's been a really good year for management games on mobile - we'll tell you this for free, this isn't going to be the last of them making an appearance in our round-up. Motorsport Manager 3, as the name might suggest, is all about managing a racing team to glory. You control the purse-strings, you choose the drivers, and you hire the mechanics.
There's way more to it than that though. Because you're the boss you've got a say over the strategy in the races - you're going to be pulling your drivers in to change their tyres, telling them to save down to save fuel, and more. And every little choice you make is interesting enough that you're not going to mind making them.
This is the perfect example of a game with small mechanics but massive ideas. You're just tapping the screen, but there's a depth here that makes every single tap feel like it could be do or die in your current season.
