Every week here at AppSpy we like to choose one game that we think stands head and shoulders above all the others that have come out over the past seven days. Sometimes it's difficult to pick just one, since there are so many awesome games regularly coming out on the App Store. Not so this week - this week Forged Fantasy was always going to be the winner.

The game is a super polished, cinematic action RPG that sees you building up a team of heroes. There are magic using nymphs, sword wielding warriors, bow-blasting samurai, giant rock monsters, and more. It's up to you to train them up, smash down the bad guys, and grab the loot.

Forged Fantasy is a midcore game through and through though. While the action is fast and frenetic, the deeper you get into the experience, the more you're going to be letting the AI take control. Instead you'll concentrate on the numbers - tweaking the stats of your team to make sure it's as tough as possible.

There's loads to do here as well, from PvP matches where you pit your team against other players, and raids where you join up with strangers or members of your alliance to kill huge monsters and earn as many shiny new things as you can.

On top of all of that, the game looks incredible. The animations are slick, the camera work is great, and every battle you get involved in feels like it's got the weight of the world resting on the outcome. Then you'll win, and go and spend your well-gotten gains on all sorts of new gear and skills.
