Sometimes games come along that have such interesting core ideas, it's impossible for us not to write about them. That's definitely the case with Stay, which has just landed on the App Store. In fact, it's got us so excited that we've decided to make it this week's game of the week. And now we're going to write a whole bunch of words about why we're stoked the game is finally out for mobile.

It's a game about communication and connection. A stranger wakes up in a room with only an internet connected computer in it. That computer is open to a chat room, and you're in that chat room. You'll be asked questions, talk to Quinn (the man in the room), and try to figure out what's going on.

The twist is that this one happens in real time. Whether you're playing or not, the clock is ticking, and if you're late with a response then it can make some pretty big changes to the story. And it's a story that's already pretty prone to change.

That's because there are seven different endings for you to discover here, and 24 chapters to work your way through. You're not just dealing with Quinn's emotional state here, you need to solve crazy puzzles as well. Basically you're going to want to put on your thinking cap, and your spare thinking cap. And maybe borrow a third one as well.

Quinn's life is in your hands - it's up to you, ultimately, what happens to him. If you're kind, he'll be responsive, but if you're cruel, or late, there's a good chance that Quinn is going to take umbrage. And that can lead to some very nasty consequences.

Stay is out right now for iPhone and iPad, and you can click here to download it from the App Store. We reckon you definitely should as well - this is one adventure that you're not going to want anyone else spoiling for you.
