There are two things that a racing game needs in order to win me over.

First is a sense of speed, and preferably a lot of it. Air Race Speed totally nails this element, as even with the slower ships you still feel like you're travelling incredibly fast.

Second is a control setup that is responsive and accurate. This is where Air Race Speed stumbles a little, with its spotty touch and tilt controls.
