When you fail hard in Fail Hard, you fail hard.

But the flipside of this is that any victories, demonstrations of skill, or general signs of competence are met with hushed reverence or whooping excitement.

I think this is best demonstrated via these replays I've found on Everyplay.

Let's start with the bad replays, the ones that make you think “hey, you actually might be a danger to yourself in real life if you're this bad at Fail Hard.

That's a pretty terrible start...

… but that's a worse start.

You know you've messed up bad when you wind up in a bin...

… and you've got to screw up real bad to break the game entirely.

These last four are actually pretty amazing in their own special ways, and demonstrate incredible amounts of skill.

This is perhaps the greatest recovery ever...

… while this is a supreme display of power control.

It takes a skilled player to hit a bullseye...

… and a legend to recreate a scene in Baywatch with a single crash.
