Every so often we send off superhero Community Manager Danny Russell on an adventure. Last time we sent him to try out some Monster Hunter-themed food and video his reactions.
This time we sent him to Korea.
Don't worry though, we sent him to the nice bit... y'know... in the South.
Specifically we sent him to G-Star 2014, a huge event attended by tens of thousands of Korean gaming enthusiasts.
We'll have coverage of the games he saw there here on AppSpy soon no doubt (and over on Pocket Gamer too), but for the time being we thought we'd bring you a collage of the sights and sounds from his trip to Busan, via the magic of social media.
Danny sets off.
Here's the queue. Looks long!
Queuing, cheering, and chanting.
Cosplay from the showfloor, including a very dodgy looking Sonic.
Shall we?
Plenty of coffee was consumed on this trip...
... as well as other types of delicious snacks...
... and very creepy treats.
Also: SEGA biscuits!
Even the menus are cool in Korea.
Danny described the city skyline as "like Casino Night Zone"...
... so he took a fair few snaps of the sights.
When not eating, he was hard at work.
Danny did make time to visit the aquarium while in Busan though. Here's a shark enjoying the festive season...
... an aggressive looking crab...
... and a selfie as he pondered upon a Jellyfish.
The end of the trip.
Apparently he got someone to watch his house while he was away too. Fool.
Just found @caffeinedreamer extreme hentai stash. Jackpot!
