In Hue you control a little person wondering about on the screen, and you also control the colour of the backgrounds they're walking past.

Why is that last bit important? Because by changing the colour from, say, red to blue, you'll reveal crucial pieces of the environment to help you progress past the various obstacles standing in your way.
