Help young avians fall in love in quirky tower defence title Flirty Birdys [Sponsored]
You’d be forgiven for thinking that a game called Flirty Birdys was a shameless rip-off designed to cash-in on the popularity of Angry Birds or Flappy Bird or one of the other avian-stuffed titles on the App Store. You couldn’t be more wrong, though. Flirty Birdys is, in fact, a quirky and colourful tower defence title in which you take on the role of a digital matchmaker. Basically, your aim is to manipulate male birds into falling in love with their female counterparts. In each level of the game, you have to - much like in any other tower defence title - strategically place towers (female birds, in this case) along a winding park pathway in order to successfully distract the…
MMORPG Chaos Fighters has battled its way up the App Store charts
As you may remember from the story we posted last month, you could pre-register for an upcoming free-to-play MMORPG called Chaos Fighters. Well, the game has now been released globally, and is available to download on both iPhone and iPad. Since its release it has shot up the App Store charts, too, creeping into the top ten free apps chart on Apple's digital marketplace in the US. It also placed fifth overall in the Free Apps Chart on the US App Store, a marginally higher fourth in the Free Games Chart, and even third in the US charts for action titles. Arguably most impressive of all though is that it managed to climb to the very top of the US charts for adventure games. It's done pr…

You'll also be entered into a prize draw to win one of three iPad minis to b…

In a Space is now available on the Canadian App Store
Top-down twin-stick shooter In A Space - developed by South Korean developer / publisher Actoz Soft - has just been released onto the Canadian App Store. A location-based title that detects the city and country of the user (so that this region can be used as the starting point in-game), In A Space appears to be your basic shooter on the surface, one which employs standard dual-stick controls, and plays out over sphere shaped stages. However, you can also join up and form “Clans” with other players in order to defeat the various enemies and attempt to take over the solar system. Alternatively, you can ignore this added layer of social depth, and just blast your way through the…

Back in September 2013, developer Wyse Games released an action-packed endless-running title called Blaze&Graze. Blaze&Graze is a game all about retribution. Nefarious baddies have carried off your wooly relatives, you see, and it's your job to send them packing using the destructive powers you’ve obtained from the Great Sheeplord. Unlike in a lot of endless-running titles, you're not encouraged in Blaze&Graze to slide or jump in order to avoid the many enemies that you encounter as you play. In fact, you’re encouraged to fill any obstacles that are unfortunate enough to cross your path full of hot lead. Blaze&Graze was inspired by classic NES shoot-'em-ups and…

Version 1.4 of the game includes new boss-waves, two new weapons, new backgrounds, and one new outfit. A few of the bugs of previous builds have been cast out, too. You can download Blaze&…
