The final episode of acclaimed point-and-click adventure game Agent A: A Puzzle in Disguise has finally received a firm release date. This follows a major delay which saw the final episode being pushed back from its planned launch late last year.
The announcement came in the form of a tweet from developer Yak & Co which featured a puzzle for fans to solve. It didn’t take long at all for folk to start spotting the release date of the final episode contained within. Here’s your heads-up before I spoil the release date, just in case you’d like to solve the puzzle yourself.

Ok, so it’s pretty much a dead cert that we’ll be seeing chapter 5 on August 29th. The puzzle reads guaeninowt. So read that backwards and you get twonineaug or two nine aug… August 29th.
For those not in the know, Agent A takes you on a globetrotting journey to hunt down the nefarious Ruby La Rogue, a mysterious and elusive villainess. It’s basically a narrative-based point-and-click adventure game where you meet lots of weird and wild characters and solve tricky puzzles dotted around the environment.
The console port of the game is also set to release on August 29th. That’ll include all previous episodes, including ‘Ruby’s Trap’ from 2016 and 2017’s ‘A Narrow Escape’.
It’s neat that fans will finally get to see the conclusion of Agent A’s story only a mere 4 years after the episodic series began. If you fancy giving it a go, you’ll find Agent A: A Puzzle in Disguise over on both the App Store and Google Play.
