Exciting news today for those into the competitive side of mobile gaming, as the grand finale of the Asphalt esports series will take place tomorrow at Gamescom.
Over the last 4 months, players from all over the world have faced off against one another in Asphalt 9: Legends for a chance at earning a spot in the grand finale.
After what has been described as a ‘fierce’ qualifying phase, the competition has been narrowed down to 12 talented finalists. To top it off, there’s an impressive €20,000 prize up for grabs, which isn’t exactly chump change.
All players will use the Black Shark 2, a super impressive gaming phone rivalled only by the upcoming ROG Phone 2 in terms of specs. It’s flat-out one of the most powerful smartphones on the market and is said to boast the world’s lowest latency screen touch.
The official car of the event is the stunning Porsche Formula E wearing its white livery. The new model will also appear in-game, and the finalists will be the first to take it for a spin.
