Mario Kart Tour's Jungle Tour is set to kick off later today at 11pm PT (or tomorrow morning if you're based in the UK, like me). Not a great deal is currently known about what it'll introduce, though we do know that it aims to push players to their limits in the tropical rain forest heat.
The Jungle Tour follows on from the popular Flower Tour, which served up some neat rewards such as the Piranha Plant Parafoil, Red Kiddie Kart, Baby Daisy, the Flower Glider, and Birthday Girl Daisy. If you're wondering why you weren't able to get those last three, they were for Gold Pass subscribers only.
The Flower Tour is almost over. Thanks for racing! Next up in #MarioKartTour: drivers will be pushed to their limits in the tropical rain forest heat. The Jungle Tour starts May 19, 11 PM PT! pic.twitter.com/djAmd8cnis

Mario Kart Tour now has some big completion in the form of the newly released KartRider Rush+, a fully-featured, more traditional karting game than Nintendo's Tour. Here's why Pocket Gamer, our sister site, thinks it's "a far better mobile kart game than Mario Kart Tour".
If you're yet to take it for a spin, you'll find Mario Kart Tour available for download as a free-to-play game from over on the App Store and Google Play.
