Cooking games can be pretty hit or miss on mobile, though one that seemed to win over a rather sizeable crowd was 99Games' Star Chef. Its sequel, Star Chef 2, has now launched for iOS and Android, and it's said to offer "an infinite source of culinary fun, joy, and learning".

As the head chef and manager at a fancy restaurant, it's your job to master the essentials of cooking, baking, and grilling the finest cuisine from across the world. Thankfully, you won't have to do all of the work yourself, as you'll gradually build up a team of chefs to cater to the demanding expectations of your guests.

Sprinkled throughout are some celebrity appearances, pool parties, and even a bit of live music. It's all in aid of keeping your customers happy and making your restaurant the best it can be. Speaking of your restaurant, there are a number of different types to choose from, with each offering different decor to customise to your heart's content.
