Necrobarista has only been out on iOS for a couple of weeks now, but already developer Route 59 is looking to the future and teasing some post-launch DLC.

"That's right - Necrobarista will be getting a bunch of gameplay and story additions," says a blog post on the game's Steam page (thanks, Touch Arcade). The new story content will focus on the game's side characters, including Samantha, Tuan, and Hannah.

Several DLC chapters are currently in the works, and what's more is that they'll all be completely free. The first DLC is expected to arrive later this year and will be purely gameplay oriented. According to the developer's post, it'll be especially neat for those interested in the game's lengthy development history.

If you're yet to give it a go, Necrobarista is a visual novel set in an Australian cafe where the dead can spend one final day amongst the living. It's all rather charming and quirky, and it's been one of Apple Arcade's best-received games to date. You'll find it available for download now over on the App Store.
