SpongeBob: Krusty Cook-Off has now received a fairly sizeable update that adds an all-new world – New Kelp City. You'll now be able to visit some familiar faces from the show, including Mermaid Man, and work away at the Last Chance coffee shop.

Here, you'll serve up caffeinated drinks and pastries to punters from Bikini Bottom and beyond. As you progress, you'll help some superhero-themed characters unlock their powers.

Krusty Cook-Off is of course a fast-paced cooking game featuring plenty of characters from the hit show, from Mr. Krabs and Patrick to Sandy Cheeks. It boasts plenty of well-known SpongeBob locales, including the legendary Krusty Krab and Sandy's Treedome.

The game first launched back in May for iOS and Android after amassing over 17 million pre-registrations. This was the strongest pre-registration performance of any Nickelodeon game to date. During its first week of launch, the game reached over 2.2 million daily active users. Not too bad at all.
