The Polygon Loft has released Double Pug Switch, a dimension shifting casual platformer featuring cute animals, on iOS and Android devices.

As an adorable pug, you jump, hop and dimension shift your way through various levels. The controls are simple in their presentation, but they also present a tough challenge that will make you want to practice hard at each stage in order to perfect your runs. You must make sure your timing is just right, because otherwise you’ll meet a grisly end.

It’s not just about typical platforming though, because dimension swapping is a key component of Double Pug Switch’s gameplay. This ability can be used to jump between platforms that are in a parallel dimension, allowing you to continuously switch between them and make jumps that you wouldn’t ordinarily be able to do. Alongside that you can also collect power-ups that can either shrink you down, launch you high up, bounce you around or accelerate your pug through the levels. For those out there who enjoy cosmetics and customisation, there are a number of hats to collect during your adventure that will give your pug a brand new look. New hats can also be bought by collecting the various coins scattered throughout each stage, including special hidden purple coins that are worth more.

Double Pug Switch has also been released on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, so its almost simultaneous release on mobile feels welcome for those gamers who often get frustrated with delayed mobile releases can enjoy the game at the same time as everyone else is.
