Heroes War: Counterattack’s first major update has launched on iOS and Android, bringing a new Guild Raid feature and festive cheer to the mobile game.

Guild Raids are a cooperative mode where you and at least seven others can group up to defeat a powerful boss. Completing each raid assigns everyone with a guild rank, calculated using the damage numbers each team member caused, and rewarding in-game items and points to the players based on those results.

Guild Points can be exchanged for SSR Promotion Cards, which is based on your contribution to the raid as well as your guild ranking. This encourages you to take part and be an active member of the team, as opposed to sitting it out and letting everyone else take on the boss. Raids run from Monday until Saturday, and any member can join while it’s active.

The winter update for Heroes War: Counterattack also introduces a new Equipment Change system, where you can exchange items in your inventory for better gear using materials earned in raids. There are also a few special events being held this month and in January, including a ten-day login bonus where you earn incremental rewards based on how many days you play the game, and a special Christmas wheel which you can spin for extra prizes.

Between 17th December and 3rd January, launching the game will also reward you with the “Nadine SD Portrait (Christmas special edition)” and “Wreath Frame” items, and Special Hot Time Events are also being held between 25th December and 27th December, as well as 1st January and 3rd January.

You can expect there to be more Christmas treats available over the holiday period, so be sure to play the game and find out more about it. Heroes War: Counterattack can be downloaded from the iOS App Store and Google Play for Android. It’s a free to play title with in-app purchases.
