Outplay Entertainment, in collaboration with Gordon Ramsay himself, has released Gordon Ramsay: Chef Blast on iOS and Android devices.

It looks to be similar to those Candy Crush-type games that crop up from time to time, where your goal is to tap matching cubes to blow them up and cook up a storm. You master your cube-crushing skills to impress Ramsay and become a top chef. Try not to become an idiot sandwich in the process.

The Kitchen Nightmares star himself features in the game where you can learn different techniques from him to help you master the levels, finding the smartest ways to solve them, and crack the high scores. Additionally, there’s a recipe book available in-game which features exclusive dishes by him along with some of his personal all-time favourites.

To extend the longevity of the game, new levels will be added to Gordon Ramsay: Chef Blast every two weeks, and so it’s worth occasionally checking back in to see if you can take on the new content.

If you’re unfamiliar with Outplay Entertainment’s previous portfolio, it has also developed Crafty Candy Blast, Mystery Match, and Alien Creeps Tower Defense. This game seems to be the studio’s first licenced partnership with a big name, and with a big name like Gordon Ramsay being the face of your game it’s sure to turn a few heads.
