Thomas Young, developer of the quirky food platformer Dadish, has released Dadish 2 today on iOS and Android devices.

It’s a platformer featuring the return of the eponymous Dadish, who’s both a dad AND a radish, as he takes his children to work and promptly loses them. After that goes topsy-turvy, Dadish sets out to find his missing kids and make sure they’re safe again.

There are 50 levels in Dadish 2, each one having you wade through murky swamps, ride rockets, climb a big tree, and even visit outer space as you search for his unruly children. There are hazards to dodge, blocks to push and locked doors that need unlocking in your pursuit of these little monsters.

Here’s a trailer that shows off some of Dadish 2’s gameplay. In addition to creating the Dadish series, Young has also developed the Super Fowlst series.

Furthermore, Dadish 2 features fast-food villains who return from the first game to make an appearance and stop Dadish from finding his children. Five bosses appear in the sequel, as well as a number of henchman which are sure to interrupt your adventure. Doughnuts, burgers and chips patrol each stage that you need to dispatch of, increasing the difficulty of finishing each stage. Alternatively, there are also some snacks which will help you on your quest, such as a giant talking burger you can ride to safety.

If you’re playing the game with a gamepad, then the good news is Young has implemented controller support. Anyone who isn’t a fan of using the touchscreen might prefer this approach.
If you were a fan of the first game or fancy checking out a new quirky platformer, you can download Dadish 2 now from the iOS App Store or Google Play for Android. It’s a free to play title containing in-app purchases.
