Longcheer Game has launched Dreaming Dimension: Deck Heroes, a card battling roguelike on Google Play for Android devices. The developer was previously responsible for Hero Summer and Wizard Legend: Fighting Masters, both of which were launched in Android early access much like Dreaming Dimension has.
The story involves the main character being trapped inside a dream, where they must journey to become a powerful warrior by defeating a grand army of powerful enemies and bosses, while simultaneously seeking a way out of the dream. How’s that for a Lynchian nightmare?
Dreaming Dimension: Deck Heroes is divided into two halves, each one offering a different slice of gameplay. The first has you exploring the overworld, finding hidden secrets, unlocking new parts of the labyrinth and defeating enemy encounters that may crop up.
The other portion of the game involves the combat, which takes on a turn-based card battling system similar to games like Slay the Spire. There are over 500 different cards to use, many of which will turn the tide of battle in your favour or tip the scales towards enemy units. There are also different relics and equipment that is also useful throughout your adventure.
You’re not just confined to one hero, but Dreaming Dimension: Deck Heroes features a bunch of different ones to play as before you hurdle into battle. Each one has their own skills and talents, and each one will result in varied runs.
If you like to customise your experience, there are four difficulty levels to select from as well as three game modes, providing much variety in how you want to tone your playstyle. Ideally, this should satisfy anyone who feels the game is too easy or too hard.
You can download Dreaming Dimension: Deck Heroes now from the Google Play for Android store where it’s out in early access.
