SuperPlanet’s Sword Master Story has received a new update to celebrate the game hitting one million downloads in the time since its release last October.

The hack and slash RPG has now introduced a new character called Kana. She’s a five star Fire Element Archer who defeats her enemies with attacks that deal massive physical damage. She’s an incredibly powerful warrior, one that you definitely want on your side, but the lore surrounding her is still covered in complete mystery.

As well as that, SuperPlanet has introduced a new featured called The Ideal Stone, which allows you to make your party of characters even more powerful. Your heroes can now receive additional stats using Souls and Transcendence scrolls which are gained when you sell Character shards.

But that’s not all, as Sword Master Story’s next update will also contain more items and drops that work in tandem with The Ideal Stone. This includes a new stat, Magic Resistance.
This update coincides with the fact Sword Master Story recently hit one million downloads, and so to celebrate SuperPlanet is hosting numerous in-game events that will allow you to grab useful items such as stamina and rubies.

For the unaware, Sword Master Story is an idle RPG where you collect a bunch of heroes to send into battle. Depending on your preference, you can either control them yourself or have a hands-off experience. There are four classes and five attributes to assign to these characters, so it’s essential that you mix them up well to allow their strengths and weaknesses to blend well together. Overall, it’ll allow you to more easily overcome any situation thrown at you.
