After its release on iOS and Android last December, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has gotten a new DLC called Iga’s Back Pack alongside the arrival of three new game modes to enjoy.

The paid DLC includes a new boss, which is none other than the game’s creator, Koji Igarashi himself. Given his boss status in the game, beating him will reward you with a bunch of rewards, including the Sword Whip and a powerful shard called Insatiable.

In addition to that, there are also three new game modes being added to Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night which are available for free. The first is a Boss Rush mode, where you have to fight several bosses from the game in a certain order, each one after the other. If you can successfully beat this composition of powerful enemies, you will unlock new rewards including 16-bit coins.

The other two modes are less dramatic in what they change, but still offer new experiences to players. The first is Speed Run, in which you must attempt to clear the game as fast as possible. The final mode is Sound Mode, a much simpler mode where you can listen to Bloodstained’s various soundtracks alongside the vocal lines from each of the characters.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night was released last December on iOS and Android devices. In it, you must explore a spooky gothic mansion fighting off all manners of supernatural creatures and bosses. It was created by Koji Igarashi, who also worked on the Castlevania series which Bloodstained draws a lot of inspiration from.

If you want to check out Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night for yourself, you can download it now from the iOS App Store and Google Play for Android. It’s a paid title costing $9.99, and the Iga’s Back Pack costs $0.99.
