Crescent Moon Games in partnership with indie games developer Muzt Die Studios has launched Knightin’+ on iOS and Android today, after it had originally released on Steam two years back.

It’s pitched as a “Zelda-lite” in which you control a knight called Sir Lootalot, who is battling through many dungeons which are filled with dangerous traps, complicated puzzles and magical artifacts.

You explore these dungeons to collect the loot and hidden items located within, which unlocks new abilities for you as you progress. But to make things a bit more chaotic, you are also going to be fighting groups of monsters which obstruct your way in these places. Eventually, each dungeon also concludes with a boss fight before you can move onto the next.

Watch the trailer below for Knightin’+, showing some of the gameplay and its vibrant presentation.

As you can see from the video, the story is comedic and doesn’t take itself too seriously which is always fun to see in a mobile game like this. Its main purpose is to tribute ‘90s adventure games, hence why Knightin’+ has pixel art graphics and a catchy soundtrack.

You may be familiar with Crescent Moon Games from its other titles released on mobile stores. Previous game launches include titles like Moon Raider, Knitted Deer, and Path to Mnemosyne.

If you’re interested in checking out Knightin’+, you can download it now from the iOS App Store or the Google Play for Android store. It’s a paid title which costs $3.99.
