Wales Interactive has released Five Dates, a live-action dating sim, for iOS devices after it received an earlier launch on PC and consoles in late 2020.
Five Dates is part-dating sim, part-FMV game where you play as a single man who goes on virtual dates during the COVID-19 lockdown. During the game he’ll date five different women, each with their own unique personalities, goals and flaws.

The actors who play your dates include Mandip Gill (Doctor Who) and Georgia Hirst (Vikings), and it’s down to you to control your responses on each date which will allow for whether they want to see you again or if the date ends up a total disaster.
“Five Dates is an exploration of the unpredictable modern dating experience, which follows an average single man as he navigates the world of digital dating,” the official store page for the game states. “Through his journey, the decisions the viewer makes for him will challenge their own conceptions of attraction and compatibility.”
It was created during the COVID-19 pandemic by Good Gate Media and features multiple endings depending on which woman you end up romancing fully. There’s even an ending where none of the five end up wanting to see you again, so be sure to think carefully about your responses if there’s one date you particularly like.
You can download Five Dates now from the iOS App Store, where it is a free to play title containing in-app purchases. It’s also available on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Another mobile version for Android is planned, but there have been no concrete plans for when that will release.
