Frogger in Toy Town from Konami has had a new update, which brings the new ranked Endurance Mode to the game as well as a few other bonus features. The game is available now on Apple Arcade.
Frogger in Toy Town tests you with its new Endurance Mode, having you move through endless courses where you must stay alive for as long as possible. Endurance Mode comes with three courses to play on: Toy Town, Midnight and Party, and will challenge your competitive nature as you try to beat your high score and maintain your leaderboard position.
There are two types of courses that you will play on during Endurance Mode. The first is called a Lane Stage, which brings back classic Frogger gameplay where you move left and right to avoid hazards and stay alive, while the second is called Physics Stage, which instead allows you to utilise physics-based objects to collect gems and increase your score. Each of these stages get increasingly more difficult, so you need to be sure you stay aware of what is going on to earn your score.
There’s more to this update than just the new mode, though. Frogger in Toy Town has now also added a new collection element called Capsule Toys. By playing Endurance Mode, you can earn stamps which you turn into Toy Coins, which are then spent on the Capsule Machine to win one of over 300 Toy Town Capsule Toys.
These can then be displayed in the Museum, and collecting them all will allow you to unlock the Golden Frogger Costume.
Toy Coins can also be earned from daily and weekly bonuses, which includes daily login bonuses, and features a weekly stamp card which allows you to save up stamps and collect your rewards once you’ve fulfilled the requirements.
You can download Frogger in Toy Town now from the iOS App Store via Apple Arcade.
