Majorariatto will be releasing Pureya on iOS and Android later this month on 26th March.
It’s a quirky minigame collection centred around the imagination of a young girl who has scattered her collection of marbles across the room. She begins to conjure up all sorts of different situations in her head as she races to collect them and this is where the basis for the minigames comes from.
These take the form of 10-second minigames in which you collect the marbles through different delightful and chaotic puzzles which change as you play. Some of them can be seen in the trailer below, which shows how you can soar like an eagle, dodge cannon fire and tiptoe as a flamingo to collect as many marbles as possible.
“Classic arcade games are wonderful, but they can quickly become tedious,” says Alva Majo, creator of Pureya. “I wanted to enhance that experience with engaging 10-second intervals. Whether you’re looking for a quick 2-minute play session or hours of earning skins and collectibles, pureya’s accessibility and variety of modes offer never-ending minigame madness.”
You can then use these marbles in the pachinko machine to unlock new minigames, new skins and collectibles. It’s very much a game about collecting a lot of items and having fun while doing so.
There’s also an endless mode which will test your skills or allow you to practice if you’re struggling with any specific minigame. That’s not to say Pureya is a hard game, however, and there is actually a dynamic difficulty scale which changes depending on how well or how poorly you are performing, meaning the game is very accessible to everyone.
You can download Pureya on 26th March on the iOS App Store and the Google Play for Android store. Mobile store pages aren’t live yet, but it will be a paid title which costs $3.99.
