Lost Light from NetEase is now available to pre-register for Android devices. It is set to soft launch in Australia and New Zealand soon, with other countries following at a later date. NetEase had previously announced that an open beta for the game was set for the same regions.

It’s a survival shooter game where you join a special forces regiment and must infiltrate a high security enemy base. The main goal of this raid is to loot enemy equipment and supplies to bring back and manage your own shelter.

You must tackle these missions while also undergoing many different challenges throughout your invasions to successfully escape with the supplies. While you’re carrying out the mission, you’ll need to stay low and find the best route for extraction without being spotted.

Once you’ve managed to secure this loot, you can go back to your own base and upgrade your shelter to secure your survival against hostile threats. Items can also be traded with other players, allowing you to form powerful alliances in the apocalyptic world.

As this is a shooter, a big focus on the weapons is obviously very important. Lost Light lets you modify your guns in many ways, adding suppressors, mag expansions and sights onto the guns that will give it new strengths and weaknesses. The gun can also be altered using a new kind of Blueprint System.

As far as game modes go, there’s a ranked mode in which the winner can claim rare supplies from the prize pool, and players can either team up with a friend or partner with a stranger to enact good teamwork and easier victories in online rounds.

Lost Light will be soft launching on Android in Australia and New Zealand on 28th April. NetEase will announce plans to expand the regions in May, and you can pre-register from the official website.
