Toho Games has released a new trailer for its upcoming Godzilla Battle Line which is releasing on iOS and Android in May, although some regions will be getting the game in April.

Godzilla Battle Line is a strategy game that, according to the trailer, introduces all the iconic elements of the Godzilla franchise including the monsters and the weapons. You add those monsters to your own team and go head-to-head against another team full of its own monster roster.

These battles last three minutes in real time and features many iconic characters from the Godzilla universe, including King Ghidorah, Rodan, Biollante, Mothra and – of course – the big man himself. The game also includes biographies that will allow you to get to know the history of each character from the series.

It also pulls content from the Hollywood movies, as it is being launched to coincide with the recent Godzilla vs. Kong film that released in cinemas and online digital storefronts last month.

This is the third Godzilla game to be released in the last month, following the recent launches of Godzilla Run in which you train pet kaiju to go out and have adventures, and the upcoming Godzilla Destruction that allows you to become the King of the Monsters himself and embark on a global rampage leaving chaos and destruction in your path.

Godzilla Battle Line is available to pre-register on the iOS App Store and the Google Play for Android store, where it will be a free to play title with in-app purchases.
